How can I Get Copies of Class Files?
PCES Forums are on-line discussion groups. We have always offered free phone support for any classes you take with us. The Forums section is an extension of that support.
Over the years we have received some excellent questions on our phone support lines. We thought it would be a great benefit to all of our clients to let you see the questions that other people are asking. With the forums section, you can not only get answers to your own questions, but also see the questions other people have asked and how they have been answered.
What can you post in the forums?
You don't necessarily have to post questions in the forums. If you have general comments about a program or have found a nice shortcut or trick you would like to share, feel free to post those as well. Also, if you would like to post your own answers to any of the questions in the forums, feel free.
What versions of the programs does each forum support?
Because the functionality of each program tends to change very little from version to version, we decided to lump all of the versions into each forum. When you post a question or comment you might want to include the version your are using (which can usually be found under Help | About on the menu bar of each program) but it is not necessary.
The General Forum is a catch-all. It is used for general computer topics that don't fit into one program category. Also, if you have a question or comment but aren't sure which forum is the proper one, you can post it in the General Forum.
How Can I get copies of class files?
Class files are the exercise files used during PCES courses. To have a copy of the class files for a particular course E-mailed to you, go to the Forum for that course (e.g. to get the files for any Excel class, go to the Excel Forum). Click the Receive Files by Email link. You will then be prompted to choose the particular class you took and to enter your E-mail address. The files used in the class will be sent to you via E-Mail.
A summary page shows a list of all of the information on our website relevant to a particular program. Rather than having to look separately for class descriptions, Forum postings and available class files, you can display the summary for a program and all of the links will be shown on one convenient page.
